Agreement to Terms

By using the services provided by HonestFix Elmhurst Towing, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services. We reserve the right to update or change these terms at any time, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Services Provided

HonestFix Elmhurst Towing provides towing and roadside assistance services including but not limited to emergency towing, flatbed towing, long-distance towing, motorcycle towing, accident recovery, winching, junk car removal, heavy-duty towing, and roadside assistance such as jump starts, tire changes, lockout services, and fuel delivery.

All services are provided on an as-available basis. While we strive to respond as quickly as possible, response times may vary depending on location, weather conditions, traffic, and service demand.

Payment and Pricing

You agree to pay for all services rendered at the rates quoted to you at the time of service request. Payment is due at the time of service completion unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards.

Pricing is based on factors including distance, vehicle type, time of day, and complexity of the service. If circumstances change during service delivery that affect the quoted price, we will notify you before proceeding with the additional work.

If payment is not received, we reserve the right to place a lien on the vehicle in accordance with Illinois state law until payment is made in full.

Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate information about your vehicle location, vehicle condition, and any special circumstances that may affect the towing process. You must also provide proof of vehicle ownership or authorization to have the vehicle towed.

You are responsible for removing all personal belongings from your vehicle before or immediately after towing. HonestFix Elmhurst Towing is not responsible for any items left in the vehicle.

If your vehicle requires towing from private property, you must ensure that you have permission from the property owner or manager before we provide the service.

Limitation of Liability

HonestFix Elmhurst Towing will exercise reasonable care when handling your vehicle. However, we are not liable for damages that result from pre-existing conditions, damages that were not visible at the time of pickup, or damages that occur due to the inherent condition of the vehicle.

We maintain insurance coverage as required by Illinois law. Any claims for damage must be reported within 48 hours of service completion. Our liability is limited to the actual cash value of the vehicle or the cost of repairs, whichever is less, up to the limits of our insurance policy.

We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to severe weather, road closures, traffic accidents, or mechanical failures of our equipment.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel a service request, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made after a tow truck has been dispatched may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover the cost of fuel and driver time.

Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint or dispute regarding our services, please contact us directly so we can work to resolve the issue. We are committed to customer satisfaction and will make reasonable efforts to address your concerns.

Any disputes that cannot be resolved through direct communication will be subject to the laws of the State of Illinois and the jurisdiction of the courts in DuPage County.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HonestFix Elmhurst Towing, its employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services, including any claims related to vehicle ownership disputes or unauthorized towing requests.
